Sam sat alone next to Serena in the sick bay. "I can't believe I ever let you out of my sight." Sam held Serena's hand.
Cassie walked into the room and sat next to Serena. "Why did you do it alone…? I thought we were a team…"
"It's ok Cassie." Sam smiled at her and tried to make her feel better. "She didn't want you to get hurt."
"Yeah…but I feel like I should have noticed her being missing all of those nights." Cassie put her face in her hands.
"It's not your fault…" Serena woke up a little and smiled.
"You're ok...you're awake! G-Gibson she's awake!" Cassie looked over to the door.
"Hun, are you ok?" Sam brushed the hair out of Serena's face and held her head with his hand.
"Yeah…I'm fine…" Serena smiled and kisses Sam's arm. "My sides hurt a little though…"
"I'd say so." Gibson and the others walked in. "You were beaten really bad."
Nova ran over to Serena and grabbed her hand. "How do you feel?" She looked concerned.
"Like I got hit by a train." Serena joked.
"Yeah well…you have about six broken ribs and several burses." Gibson looked Serena in the eye.
"You're lucky her spared you after all."Auntari folded his arms and slightly scolded Serena.
"I agree with Auntari, Serena he could have killed you." Chiro looked at Serena with a sad face.
"But he didn't." Serena looked at the bright side.
"Yeah!" Sprx tried to be cheerful. "Let's all just be happy she's alive."
Serena fidgeted with her hands. "Um…how long was I out?"
Sam looked down at the floor and sighed. "About three weeks."
"We would have tried to wake you up…but you were really out of it." Otto laughed.
"I thank you for trying anyway…" Serena teased.
"It was all my fault." Cassie sat in her chair depressed.
"Now who was it that went off on their own? Me. Who was it that choose not to tell anyone where I was? Me. Who was-"
"Ok! Ok I get it." Cassie was happy just to have Serena stop answering her own questions.

(About a week later)
"Serena!" Cassie called from the other side of the room. "C'mon! It's like 10:30 and you're still sleeping." Cassie pulled the covers off of Serena.
"Cass…I don't feel very good…" Serena was pale, and everything about her spelled sick.
"You don't look very good." Cassie helped Serena sit up. "C'mon we'll go find Gibson."
Serena tried to stand up but she fell to her knees.
"N-Nova! Someone get in here and help!" Cassie supported Serena who looked like she was going to fall asleep again.
"What's going on?" Chiro and the others ran into the room.
"Serena looks sick." Nova got down and held her hand on Serena's forehead. "It's not a fever."
Serena looked around. "I'm just a little light headed." She tried to get up again but didn't get close.
"Don't worry." Chiro picked her up. "I'll carry you to sick bay."
"It's a good thing you're older than me or you would never be able to carry me like this." Serena teased.
"Oh yeah those three months make all the difference." Chiro teased.
They all made it to sick bay and Chiro put her down on one of the tables.
"Now, I'm just going to run a few tests to see what's wrong with you." Gibson hooked her up to some machines and started the tests. "Th-this can't be…" Gibson looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"What is it brain strain?" Sprx was growing impatient.
Gibson looked back and forth between the monitor and Serena for nearly a minute speechless.
"Well, spit it out!" Nova demanded.
"She…she…" Gibson couldn't find the words for it.
Serena stared with wide eyes at the computer monitor. "I…I'm pregnant."
