(In Skeleton Kings fortress)
"Wake up my dear." Cassie awoke to find that she was strapped to a small lab table.
"What is this?!" Cassie tried to free herself with her powers but found that she couldn't use them.
"This is the last place you'll ever see." Skeleton King stepped out of the shadows and turned on a bright light.
"Why do you want to kill me so much?!" Cassie looked at Skeleton king in terror.
"Because your blood is super charged." Skeleton King grabbed a needle. I intend to drain you of ever last ounce you possess."
Cassie could feel her heart beating through her chest. "Gah!" Cassie could no longer contain her fear.
"It will all be over soon." He stabbed her arm with the needle.
"Cassie could feel herself being drained. "You're a monster…"
"Don't flatter me." He smiled.
"Cassie!" There was an explosion and Serena pounced on top of Skeleton King. "Don't you touch her again!" The others ran in behind her and freed Cassie from her confinement.
Cassie was nearly drained and was on the brink of passing out. "Sere...na…" She was asleep before anyone could do anything about it.
"Cassie!" Nova looked over at Gibson.
"We have to get her to the sick bay immediately." Gibson grabbed Cassie's arm. "C'mon!"
"No!" Skeleton king pushed Cassie off. He jumped to stop them.
"No you won't hurt her!" Serena jumped up and before she made contact with him, he grabbed the needle and stabbed her with it in the chest. He quickly pressed a button, reversing the flow of the blood in the tube. Serena could feel Cassie's blood entering her veins. "Gah!" She pushed away after recovering from the shock.
No one was around and Skeleton king wore a smile on his face. "Take your pathetic monkeys and go...you won't die "HERE."
Serena felt strange as she backed away. ("HERE?") She turned and ran into the robot. "Cassie…I have to tell you why…I cant keep my secret from you any more…"
She disappeared into the robot and it pulled away from the fortress and made its way back to Shugazoom."
(Later in sick bay)
Cassie woke up in a panic. "Gah!"
"Cassie! It's ok, your safe now!" Chiro put his hand on Cassie's shoulder.
She looked around at everyone's smiling faces. "You…you saved me…"
"Well duh!" Sprx smiled. "We're friends."
"Where's Serena?" Cassie looked around.
"I'm right here." Serena stepped forward. "Cassie…"
Cassie stopped smiling and looked at Serena in confusion. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Serena was serious as she looked Cassie in the eye. "Cassie I have to tell you something…and after today it can't wait."
"What is it?" Cassie smiled.
"Cassie…it's my fault our parents are dead!" Serena looked down at the floor.
Everyone looked on in shocked horror.
"Wha…what are you talking about?" Cassie began to shake her head with a nervous smile.
"That day when we were eight…I snuck out to go see Sam." Serena stuttered. "The formless followed me home from his house. Cassie I'm so…"
"You witch! How dare you speak to me after you did such a terrible thing!" Cassie yelled as tears ran down her face. "Get out of the room now Serena! Just leave!"
Serena smiled understanding. "Take care of her guys."
"Sere..."
"Wet her leave Nova!" Cassie demanded.
Serena walked out of the room…
